Ok guys, Ive studied for about a week but there are limited oppurtunities to get into the testing center near me because I live in a college town. Ive read the material once and took the practice test and got a 62 on form A. Im gonna wing it and take it tommorow morning. Anybody have any advice or info on how difficult this test was. Im really only trying to pass and getting an "A" would be nice but not my concern at this point. So far ive taken Transitions and health safety both with "Bs" in 8 days of studying per test.

Let me know how it goes. I just started studying for that today. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Good Luck

I wasnt able to take it today. Unfortunately I held off on scheduling it yesterday becuase I noticed on pearson vue that they have a "test now" service was available for same day testing. There were plenty of spot available at the center an hour from my home so I decided to wait till the morning and see if there were any cancellations at the center 5 minutes from my house. I was then told that this "test now" service is not available to exclesior students. So basically now im screwed and wont be taking my exam today. So much for the plans that I cancelled to accomodate this. I live in a college town so it is very difficult to get into a testing center.

Anyways, so far health differences seems very simple and straightforward. It doesnt have the subjective type questions that transitions and health safety had. I would say the majority of the questions seem to be on fluid and electrolytes on the practice tests. I took form B and scored a 75% which is the highest of scored on any practice exam up to this point and Ive had nothing less that a "B" on the real exam. GOOD LUCK!

Are there other testing centers within driving distance (like less than 75 miles)? I realize that's probably a pain to drive, but you might get in faster. Just a thought. When I was doing EC exams, my closest testing center (northern Virginia) was about 70 miles from home. I could have also gone to DC if the Vienna center was full, it was about the same distance (but more hassle!). Since I finished in 2008, they've opened a bunch more locations. Go figure. :D

Ya there is, I actually found one spot available tommorow (saturday) in jacksonville about 75 miles from here and I jumped on it. I just feel like when im read im ready and I get anxious to get it done. Want to finish it tommorow and then watch the Gators kick some butt tommorow night!

Well went in and got a "B" this one wasnt to bad. So now ive completed Health Safety, Transition to registreed profressional nurse role, and essentials: Health differences. I took the first one on August 31st so thats 3 down in 25 days. I hope I can keep sailing along like this. Starting chronicity now. Good Luck to all!
