ERES OR CGFNS?

Hello everyone! I am a graduate of BSN in the Philippines and currently applying for LVN in California. I just received an email requiring me for CGFNS/ERES. Was wondering if which one would be better to ensure a seamless and faster application ? Also, is IELTS/TOEFL really needed? Thank you!!

I have a friend who went to ERES to process the evaluation. Their office used to be located in Sacramento, now it's in Fairfield. She chose ERES because she could go to their office for an update.

She wasn't required to do IELTS or TOEFL (this was 2017) because I saw the letter and I did read it. Are you required now or does it say in the letter?

hi! the letter I received just told me that I needed cgfns or eres. When I looked at the website for cgfns it said something about ielts/ toefl. I started with cgfns (but havent payed for it yet) and it did say that english proficiency wasnt needed ? I currently live in the Philippines and most of those who used cgfns waited for atleast 6 months. I'm wondering if ERES would be faster?

She said it took about 4 months for her to process it from ERES because she went to the ERES office physically.

You said you currently live in the Philippines. Are you a permanent resident (green card holder) here already or U.S. citizen or dual citizen? California requires SSN.
