I am gearing up to take the ENPC course next month. Any advice or tips on things to study or brush up on? Thanks!

Study the ENPC Manual. You should have it by now but, if you do not, contact the course director to get one.

Read the book over. It's not that hard. Listen to what others say and realize that you will practice a SOLO assessment but that in real life it's not solo. They want to make sure you know all the steps so IRL nothing gets missed

Yup, there's an order to things when in reality there are 4 of you surrounding the patient doing everything at once! Doing it solo though helped me really understand what the priorities are, and when things get hectic or if you have a team leader who is not directing well, it can help you choose your next move.

Read the book.
Then when you are done, read the book.
Finally read the book.
it really is that simple.
I found it a great course, very practical and logical content. If you work in ER most of it will be familiar anyway, but perhaps the course states it in more detail.
My only other suggestion is to study the major incident stuff in detail, (start at p365 if you have the 4th edition), its not something we deal with very often so needs careful reading, as hopefully you will never have to use it, but still need to know it.
Just thought I would update those who took the time to respond. I passed ENPC, I read the book I thought it was an amazing class and I'm very glad I took it, even if I do work med-surg. Thank you all for replying to my question it was greatly appreciated!
