EMR charting

Could anyone tell me if it is legal to chart on patients after D.C.'s from system. I am not having enough time to chart before patient is removed from system. I don't feel good about doing this, but if it's legal, Ok.

It's absolutely OK as long as it's accurate.

In every facility I have worked at you have 24 hours to chart things.
