Emory MN Spring 2023

Decision release day is tomorrow 7/15. Good luck to anyone who applied!

Did anyone who applied actually get accepted? I was waitlisted. Does anyone know how the waitlist process works specifically for this program?

I was waitlisted. I found someone else on Reddit who was also waitlisted, and two people who were accepted. All I know is the waitlist isn’t ranked, they don’t revisit the list every round (there’s one more deadline and decision release date left), they revisit it when the adcom decides they need to. From what I’ve read on previous threads, they revisit the waitlist as spots open up. I think there’s a decent chance to be admitted from the waitlist as it seems a good number of spots do open up as people receive offers from other schools, people reject their spot because the program is expensive, etc. best of luck, I hope we get in! I’ll post here if I get any updates

Thank you so much for the feedback. That makes me feel so much better actually. I have heard different things about the waitlist for this program and it made me nervous. Someone made the comment that everyone is put on the waitlist that applies that isn't accepted (I thought that was a bit hard to believe). Best of luck to you and I hope we have the opportunity to meet when we start in the Spring haha. If I hear anything as well-- I will post here. Take care!

I read that as well and I was worried, but if you look through past threads for the InEmory MN or regular MN there have been people who have been admitted off the waitlist!  Good luck!!?

Just to clarify, someone made that comment on the MN-MSN thread (not the InEmory MN/regular MN) but on that thread and previous MN-MSN threads there actually have been people accepted off the waitlist so that’s a good sign that Emory doesn’t only accept or waitlist

I was accepted into this one. I was waitlisted for Fall MN 2022 and the advisor suggested to forego my waitlist position for Fall bc it was looking unlikely to get off the waitlist and apply to this one instead. I also heard the waitlist was unranked in general. Good luck guys!

Hey guys, I applied for the InEMORY Program for 2023. I applied for the first round and I got my decision on July 15th. I did get in! I’m just a little nervous because of how prestigious this school is. And for those of y’all that didn’t get in the first round, I believe they are doing a second round of applications in a couple months. Fingers crossed for all of you guys ??.

So, I finished all of my prerequisites besides Human Growth & Development. I’m almost done with that course now. And good luck I hope you get in October 3rd!
