Emory BSN Fall 2012

I completely forgot about Emory. I won't be applying to any schools until for 2013 start date. So the end of this year I'll try Emory along with my current school GSU. It doesn't look as competitive as Georgia State and I thought it would be. They don't have an accelerated program? Or a program to finish in less than 2 years. I actually have most of the pre-reqs from my general ed classes such as English Psych etc.

Do you know if you have to have all pre-reqs completed by the time you apply or by when you enter the program?

Oh nevermind I do see the BSN accerlated option for 15 months.

Yep, the accelerated program requires you to hold a BS or BA degree before getting into the program.

I'm a little late seeing this, but would you mind sharing your stats kitkats? I currently have a 3.65 and I'm worried that I will have a difficult time getting in with that GPA.

Where did you get most of your volunteer hours from? I have a lot of random hours from soup kitchens, nursing homes, and building houses, but very few from volunteering at hospitals. I have a full-time job on top of a full courseload in school, so I'm trying to be smart about where I spend my time volunteering from now on.

Your volunteer exp looks great.
