Elnec

Does anyone have any experience with the ELNEC (End of Life Nursing Education Consortium) program sponsored by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing? I am attending the porgram in June 08 in Chicago and am so very honored and excited! Is there anything I can do to get better prepared for the course?

I will also be attending the ELNEC training in Chicago. Like you, I am excited about going to this event! To my awareness, there are no preparations that need to be made prior to the conference. Just arrive with an open mind and a good writing instrument!

I attended the conference this past fall in New Orleans. It was a wonderful and very informative two days! There is no prep involved. Like Mark said, just arrive with an open mind. My DON and I went and we enjoyed meeting other nurses from the area and exchaning idea. :twocents: Enjoy!

I attended the ELNEC training in Columbus Ohio a year or so ago. It was well worth it! Some of the information is a little redundant if you have been in hospice very long, but for the most part, I learned a great deal.!

Have fun!
