ELM, FALL 2011

Hi,

I've been accepted into APU's Fall 2011 ELM (formerly EENAP) program at the San Diego location and wanted to know if there were any other students from that batch here. I am so excited about starting the program. I'd love to hear from my future classmates. That way we could maybe form a study group when school does start because I heard it is an intense program!

Thanks!

Hi Hannah! Sorry for the lag, the baby and father's day weekend got my hands tied.

(To answer your question) I've done a couple of volunteer work and research activities when I was an undergrad. Finished in 2005 so I've been working since and will quit my company before I start the program. My cumulative GPA is 3.5, science is 4.0.

Good luck on your app. You can do it!

Hey Guys,

I am accepted to Azusa Pacific ELM program for Fall 2012. I know you guys are already in the program and finished the first year. I would like to know about the program and its qualification. Are you happy with the school? I also have a question about the MSN part of the program. Do we have to start the MSN portion right after BSN? If somebody can't continue the program Is it possible to just get the BSN and not continue the Master part? I would appreciate If somebody help me. Thanks

congratulations on your acceptance!

To my knowledge, you must complete the MSN portion of the program, since the two second-degree programs at APU (SCAN and EENAP) merged. After you complete your pre-licensure courses for your BSN, you can take the MSN courses, either full-time, or part-time while working full-time. My suggestion is to look for scholarships early into your nursing program and also consider working for hospitals that offer loan forgiveness.
