UUmmmm creatine isn't an electrolyte,....sounds like you need to chat with the doc who ordered your test. The members of this site are not allowed to give medical advice and you would be wise to never take advice online,...call your doc,.he can explain everything.

A-fib can cause an increase in CPK. By 'creatine' and the value you gave, I am assuming you mean creatinine in a basic metabolic panel. I am not aware of coumadin or heparin increasing that lab value.

I believe you are asking a question and not seeking advice.....if you are seeking, then do as the poster above advises.

An ECG is the test to determine when arrhythmia is atrial fibrillation.

As far as the coumadin/heparin relations to the AFib...patients with Afib should receive long term adjusted dose anticogulant meds. you would want to check the INR will show how much the drug is working to lower the risk of bleeding.

You would want to replace Mg ++ or any other electrolytes that are out of the norm.

You would want to evaluate the Sodium and Potassium levels. Potassium is usually low with AFib.

Troponins and the creatine kinase (CK) will determine if there are heart injuries...

CK-MB are elevated after a myocardial infarction.
