ELAC ADN Spring 2021 Program

Hey everyone! 

I didn’t see a thread for ELAC anywhere on this forum so I decided to start one. Did anyone receive an acceptance letter for ELAC this Spring 2021? Also does anyone know if their warning status will impact the program?

The only email I got was too see if I am still interested in the program because I am in the waitlist. Give Monica a call to See if it will impact the program. I had no idea there was a warning status.

You should definitely call! Their website doesn't even have anything for Fall 2021, just "We are in the middle of a major update of our nursing application process, requirements and website.  Please check the website in November for an update."

 

They have had a warning on program status, due to their NCLEX passing rate not meeting BRN standards for multiple years. They actually had it a few years ago, it was taken off, and then reactivated Novemember of last year. I'm surprised they are even taking on new students when something is clearly not going right there!

Hello. I received an acceptance letter on November 17th. Did anyone else on this thread receive anything?

I believe they have been on warning status since I applied and they are still taking students so maybe it doesn't impact the program?

Congratulations! I got my acceptance letter on November 6th. What term are you starting? Did you get information about orientation already?

So I actually spoke to BRN, and they said ELAC was taking the appropriate steps to reaching full compliance. But even if it does get shut down when we’re in the program, we can still be allowed to finish the program.

I’m starting on Spring 2021 too ? So I’ll probably see your name during orientation! I’m excited yet nervous at the same time ?

Hi,everyone  

I got a alternate email on nov 17, unfortunately I miss the deadline to relay. Do you guys know how many terms they have every year, I wish I can start in fall 2021. And congratulations to all you got acceptance.

Oh no... I'm so sorry to hear that :( 

I would think they have two terms every year like most city colleges, Fall and Spring. You can call their office for more information since their site seems to still be under construction. Good luck!

Hi!

Did you start the program now? How is it so far?

I’m wondering if you know anything about their LVN-RN program. I have been emailing Monica but I don't get any clear response if they are still going to offer the program. I applied around Dec 2018 and up to now theres no news. I hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance!
