El Msn- Csuf?

Published

Hi everybody!

Is anyone here in the EL MSN program at Cal State Fullerton? I have a BS in bio and initially, wanted to obtain the RN from a community college, but my counselor is suggesting the EL MSN route. I have just begun researching nursing these entry-level programs. Are there any graduates from this program? Thanks in advance!

Hi there...there are no graduates of the program as the first cohort is beginning this Fall. There is another thread in this forum where the fall applicants have maintained a discussion about the admissions and application process. Check the CSUF Nursing website where they have the summer information session dates listed.

Hey Sara,

I am in the ELMSN program. I got your private msg but was not able to reply back. As a part of the first cohort, we will be sitting for our boards in January so we have been very busy. Since it is a new program we have learned to be very flexible and nursing school is just tough in general but I am glad I went through it and the school does try hard to listen to our concerns/ideas/suggestions. Clinicals are always tough when so many schools are trying to get placed but I have enjoyed my clinical rotations so far and most were in the Orange County area. Some of the clinical sites include Mission Hospital, St. Jude, St. Joseph, Placentia Linda, Kaiser, Western Med, and Fountain Valley. Hope some of this information helps and I wish you luck!:nurse:
