EFSC Class of 2022 (Fall 2020 Start)

Hello everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have applied for Fall 2020 admission into EFSC’s ADN program. I know there’s a lot of uncertainty with everything right now so I hope this serves as a way for us to share concerns, thoughts, and info.

But reading the thread, lots of people have good stats and experience. If anything I can apply for January again.

You really have nothing to worry about.. you prob have the best chance here honestly LOL. I have experience and all that other stuff but my TEAS score was super low..

I would seriously be shocked if you didn’t get in.

Oh you’re solid! You were feeling good?! I wouldn’t worry!! You’ll get in for sure ❤️ Your TEAS scores are great and you have your BA already!! That’s awesome! I really wouldn’t worry at ALL! Totally what @Kk3456 said! I get it! It’s making me more anxious comparing myself, but you’re right! And @Kk3456 you’re fine!! Don’t worry!!! You have your AA and letters of recommendation and CNA!

Well hopefully. Thank you, just the long wait has me nervous....I joined EFSC class of 2021 facebook as a spy LOL. They’ve been struggling switching from online and virtual clinicals and labs. Hope it all gets cleared by fall.

Right! Normally, from what I can see most people have found out by now- I’ve seen acceptance letters by people on facebook and Instagram dated on the 14th! (I’ve done some hardcore searching on Instagram and facebook! also have become slightly obsessed LOL) and hahahahahaha thats funny!! But I couldn’t imagine. I really hope things change too if we all get in. So sad and frustrating!

Haha yes!! The obsession is real. I’ve been trying to research professors

Hahahahahahaha! So funny what we do when we go stir crazy!

Your TEAS score is really great & so is your GPA. You having your bachelors is another plus for you.. did you complete a different class in place for intro to health care, or you just haven’t completed it yet?

I didn’t do intro to healthcare yet @Jjalu

I'm a current student in the class of 2021. Our clinicals have temporarily gone virtual but we are being told that as soon as the hospitals permit us to return that we will, even if instructional courses remain online.

I just called and asked when will we be getting letters and he said that if we don’t receive a letter by the end of June contact them. I think I spoke to Anothony.

oceanicdreamer thanks for the heads up! I have been worried about how we would complete them. How do feel about the program? How many hours a week of studying have you had to put in a week? I appreciate you keeping us updated!!

So now it’s the end of June? Everyone is getting a different response. When I called, the told me that the letters will be sent out to USPS at the end of may and we should have them by the first week of June..

And oh my, there is so many views on this thread.. it makes me wonder if that’s how many people have applied ?
