hey there Debg. I came into EC with over 50% previous nursing school credits. I applied in June 2007 and I've completed the program Aug 2010.

Could I have completed this program any sooner? Yes. I certainly could, but due to circumstances within and beyond my control, It took me 3 years.

I have read some people have completed the nursing exams in 1 year.

I was in the program before the FCCA, so I don't know how much time that adds onto the total time, but I can tell you, my last nursing exam was 09-09. I applied for CPNE in Jan 2010 and recieved my date in Mar and passed in May

Now saying all that, many people move at different paces. Some might have obstacles while others might not.

Call and send in your application and see what EC has to say regarding your transferred credit history.

If your already a LPN, then your license will be used as a waiver for one of the nursing exams. ( i don't remember the name of it)

hope this helps
