Hi fellow nurses,

Does anyone know how to find EB3/GC visa sponsors for foreign RNs in CA or HI? Direct hire or recruitment agencies????️

Thank you in advance!

Would suggest contacting hospitals in the areas you want to live and work in and ask them if they are willing to sponsor

Thank you for your reply. I have been in touch with a couple recruitment agencies, and CA and HI are never on their lists. Are they the most popular states? ?

Do you know if it is possible to process the whole application up until the I-140 by oneself? Or would it be better to have an immigration lawyer file everything from the beginning? Is there a difference the USCIS will look upon the applications?

Also, does one need to apply for an EB3- visa prior to the Green Card, or not necessarily?

T.I.A! ?

EB is green card. You don’t need a lawyer to get your nurse registration sorted, they really aren’t needed until you have a employer and they are willing to sponsor you

Thank you! I am kind of learning as I go. The issue that I am currently stuck with is that it seems impossible to find an employer who is willing to sponsor. The only ones willing to recruit are the agencies, but for a three- year contract. I have researched online, but jury still out if this is a dangerous endeavor. Do you have any take on signing up with the agencies, other than what I might find on Google?
