this is probably a dumb question, but, what is the difference between an ARNP and an RNC?

An ARNP is a master's prepared Nurse Practitioner.
An RNC is a Registered Nurse who has been certified by examination given by the certifying authority for their specialty. Some certifying agencies differentiate by adding RN-BC (board certified) to RN-BSNs. I'm not sure if they take different tests than the diploma and AD Nurses do.
Some like mine do not use the RN-C....Mine is ONC (orthopaedic nurse certified.)
