Sorry, couldn't resist asking.

If you are injured, go to the doctor. We can't give medical advice here.

Hope you feel better soon.

I don't want medical advice. I didn't ask for it at all.

I simply wanted to know if it is possible to pull a muscle in that region.

That isn't asking for medical advice. Also I wanted to know what muscles in that region are able to get injured.

I am not asking how to treat the injury in any form whatsoever.

And sure, you can pull a groin muscle - if you are looking for specific names, I'd have to find my A&P book - or perhaps one of the other posters has that info at hand.

Hope you feel better.

I pulled an ab/aductor muscle once - it runs along the inside of your leg up to under your periarea. I did it lifting a patient in the approved "lift with your legs" method. I ended up having to sit on an icepack for comfort. You also can't cross your legs for a few days.
