Hi Angela:
I just got accepted for Psych-NP program at Drexel starting this fall. I was wondering how you are doing with your program and how you like Drexel........
Also I am currently working only 24 hrs/wk.......and have plenty of free time........is it doable to take 3 classes per quarter??
Thanks in advance,
A.

angshallad - how are you liking the Drexel Education program? I am considering it (one of the many paths I consider).
Do they require the GRE?

I am also looking for any feedback on Drexel's MSN programs. I will be starting grad classes this January. I thought about going to Phoenix, but I have heard it is a degree mill and their instructors are not always top-notch. The most important thing to me is that if I am going to sink $30,000 into a Master's program- I want a reputable degree. Any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I think one of the important considerations here is that Drexel was a well-respected "bricks and mortar" university for a long time before they launched an online university.
This is one of the primary reasons my organization has entered a partnership with them - they have solid academic values and an educational mission which does not appear to be profit-driven.
FYI, If you can convince your organization to enter a partnership agreement, there are significant tuition discounts for the nursing programs.

Do those tuition discounts apply for just the online programs, or for Drexel's on campus programs as well? I work in one of their partner companies but believe the discount is only for the online programs, not the on campus ones.

still looking for input as to how folks feel about the MSN program at Drexel. My hospital has a discounted tuition plan with them, so financial seems like the best route. Would like to know if others have had a reasonable/good experience with the online program. thanks
