As she mentioned she can not afford the cancellation fee, sometimes it is like that so better to continue and hope it helps
i may have said this before... i am not really that scared of the nclex. i am only taking a review because my school requires it. i honestly feel, no matter which review you take, passing or failing is up to the individual. your suggestions were somewhat biased too. i will have to take drexel and get my own opinion.
i laughed at what i wrote....very non therapeutic isn't it!! haha...i guess i am just putting my frustration down that i didn't pass after spending $399... still in my 2nd phase of grief....not a healthy coping mechanism.....haha
i do totally agree with you!!!
good for you that you are confident. i previously told you that review classes are nuisance, it depends on the individual prep and hard work. my light bulb went off only after taking that review course. what didnt work for me may work for you as every individual is different. i wish you good luck!!
on serious note, all you need is saunders book only and hard work and determination. if you have asked me i could have mailed you my book, audio cd from drexel that i dont use anymore that i got after failing...another way for them to escape from refund....by hook or crook they wont refund money. i hate when third party rips off student in the name of review....all i was trying to convince you not to waste money...but it is your choice and i am not judgmental what so ever...

Hmm... interesting situation. I took the week long Drexel course this spring (when I graduated). The book and online portion seemed helpful, however I have not passed boards yet... This may be because I am retarded or just can't figure this test out yet. At any rate, I have also tried an online course from the ncsbn learning extention (national council of state boards of nursing) www.ncsbn.org I found this site to be the closest thing possible to boards as it is broken up into all 8 sections of the test. The Drexel course was good, so I hope this helps you! I also know a co-worker who took the Kaplan course and passed it on his third try...he claims it was the difference? :uhoh21:
And on that note if anyone has any suggestions please email me with them... this will be round #3 for me and week long or online courses have not seemed to do me any good. I do have the saunders nclex book for this year and the Kaplan one, and the first time was the best for me as far as the results went...so should I go back at it with the book and cd thing??? lost and confused in North Dakota....
Suzanne's plan has helped many pass NCLEX and the first part can be found under the sticky New Revised First Tip
fishingandhunting- i wish you all the luck!! i hear great things about suzzanes plan. i hope its helpful for you
wizard100- thanks for the well wishes. good luck to you too!
while on the topic..... i was chatting with my coworkers the other day, complaining about drexe. our charge nurse heard my ranting and aksed if i wanted her to collect donations to help me pay fopr kaplan. all the nurses at my job are pro kaplan. anywho, i didnt want her to collect but she started anyway.... so i guess i will be taking kaplan after all. a lot of my classmates are taking drexel, so i will get some more opinions about drexel as well.
