Hello All..
So Im anticipating an interview for an externship position that I really want. Ive been thinking about what I should wear, and browsing the internet for ideas. Im really inexperienced in the interview department and was wondering if it was appropriate to wear a nice, conservative dress to an interview. I really just cant find a pant suit that I love. Whatever I purchase will most likely serve as my designated interview outfit for a while... Also..Is wearing black clique??
Below is an idea of something I have in mind..

Any input would be appreciated, thank you!

Well that is really cute! It's borderline...I'm sure that model is 6'2 and that is why it looks shorter, but I would go with something more knee length, maybe slighty below the knee.
Ya I considered the shortness as well... Im 5'6", so it probably would be just above the knees on me.. I may just order it.. it can always be returned! I will keep looking for something a tad longer though..

It is real nice, but I have always done well being very conservative with black pants and matching business jacket and white shirt with black pumps for an interview. But each of us is different and if it is something you are comfortable and confident in, then you are your own best judge. Good luck on your interview!
Also, I wouldn't have a problem wearing black. You can add color with your accessories so it won't look so funerial. Banana Republic has really nice work appropriate stuff too. I was just looking through Nordstrom's "work" dresses and some are rather....ahem, scandelous.
oh I know, I was wondering where exactly those people were "working". haha. Banana Republic is a good option, I will check it out..
Well, good luck with the interview! I hope you find something comfy and interview appropriate. Oh yeah, J.Crew is also a good place to check out. Conservative capitol of shopping...
