Hi. My name is Mel and I began my nursing degree in the fall of 2003. I still am waiting to get into the nursing classes and clinicals. At the end of this semester I will have over 80 credits to my name, but no nursing clinicals/lectures. I need to get this done. I have been going to school for so long and am getting burnt out. Does anyone know where I can go to get my Fundamentals of Nursing completed, so that this fall I can get into a full schedule? Or does anyone know of a school where I can go to get all this done quickly? I have been working towards my BSN degree and would just be happy to get my ADN/ASN as soon as possible! Please help if you can. Am just totally frustrated with this and all the waiting lists to even be accepted into the programs!!!HELP!!!

Are you currently on a wait list? Did you only apply to a first-come-first-serve school? It says small town Iowa as your location, are you willing to move? There are tons of schools nationwide with no waiting list per se, although they tend to have very tough entrance standards. The school I'm applying to (USF in Tampa, FL) doesn't take in a class for fall but also doesn't make you wait if you've completed all the prereqs. You would have until I believe 10/15 to apply for January admission. I'm sure there are many schools closer to you that work the same way.
