Okay, so here is the story. I have a bachelors degree from Madonna University which is in business marketing. When I first began college I wanted to go for nursing took all of my pre-req's and then had to take the NET. I took it on three different times and every time I failed the reading part . I do not know why that part of the test was so hard for me. Maybe because I speak a differnet language (i really do not know). I then gave up and continued on with something else. I am 27 now and still wish I would have continued nursing . I do not know if every school requires a NET or something similiar. Another issue that I face now even if I want to go back and get my RN is that I have to try and find evening classes- since I work full-time and cannot afford to cut back even to part-time.
If anyone knows of any schools that could be taken during evening hours in michigan please respond, and any info on the tests that are required now-a-days to get accepted - I appreciate any info. that anyone has to offer.

one of the tihings that you can do is practice the part of the tests that you had difficulty with and do a lot of reading and studying in english
check with the michigan state forum and the student forums, see yellow tabs at top of page, i hope they can answer your specific questions
