I live in a small town were the hospital is the only place you can get a job as a lvn. Well i was employed there. This was my first job as a lvn. I have just graduated lvn school in august. Ok maybe it is not being a nurse that bothers me i guess its how to get along with others who treat their pt. bad. I just dont understand. I feel like is every nurse like this and if they are then i dont want to be a nurse anymore. So whats bad about this is i quit that job in november. So i only lasted 2 months there. And i need to find another job but the closet place is 45 mintues away. I guess i just need a little words of encouragement.

Becareful not to fall into the New Grad Hubris trap. Approach problems wih a firm yet gentle touch.
Get your RN, esp your BSN and things will open up much more for you. Nursing is so diversified that if you cannot find your niche you just didn't look hard enough.

I'd consider moving. The areas I've lived where there were only one or two hospitals seemed to be the worst working conditions because they know you have few other options.
