Dont know what to expect

I am a nursing student and I have just completed my first two years of school at a BSN program. My question is if my first two years seemed so tough what should i expect in the last two. I am taking Med-Surg and Patho in the fall and really dont know what to expect. Is there any way I can prepare myself ahead of time.

I am going to tell you one thing: RELAX!!! You need the summer to unwind and take care of yourself. Do some reading or some practice NCLEX questions if you feel the "urge" but most importantly, enjoy your time. You will find yourself begging for more time in the fall so that you can take a walk or eat a decent meal rather than a pizza.

Agreed. Don't stress out over the summer! If you feel the need to review, make sure you're doing something to help you understand, not just memorize. I think that usually means making sure you understand the basic A&P, I think that is the best preparation for Med-Surg (and pretty much all other nursing subjects...)

But hanging out with your textbook is not an approved summer activity just because you're nervous :)

I don't know about what you should expect but CONGRATULATIONS on completing your first two years!!!
