Hey everyone.
I'm a lil anxious about the NCLEX-RN which i take in a few weeks. Im an RN from germany my degree got accepted here now i have to take the NCLEX-RN.
I really don't know what to expect, how that test is built and what i contains.
I' studying right now with Saunders which I think is a great booka and take a online class as well.
My concern is what will be ask on that test? Everything u can now about nursing or is there a focus?
I've been out of nursing parctice almost 2 years, and I've to addmit u forget alot in those 2 years.
Another question how u know the questions are high level, moderate level and low level?
Please help me.

Hi Maria, I took my NCLEX RN exam last week and although I'm not permitted to discuss content, I can tell that by reading your post you are on the right track! Saunders is a great tool. It is what I used. Keep doing the questions from the cd if you have it! If you can look in the mirror and know you prepared to the best of your ability, you will be successful! Best of luck!!! Jim

Keep practising questions, read the rationale even if you got the question right. Make sure you understand Maslow, ABC's, prioritising etc

Hi.. I am also using the saunders book. I was gonna do the suzzane's plan, but i found few weeks ago that she stopped doing it. Did you passed your nclex already? This is gonna be my second attempt and I am hoping that saunders will helped me. As of right now, I could say that it is really a good book. What other resources are you using? thanks.
Hey. No its my first attempt. And im realy freaking out because I read that so many ppl fail the 1st time, and I"ve to pass right away. I started with the Princton review book that my agency sent me, but i really can't recommand this one. And I signd up for the elsvier online course, but what is in that ccourse u can find in the book the only difference is that u have after every module a 100 question test and they offer at the end a 265 question exam + a CAT for practice.
How was ur experience the first time are the questions really hard do u have to know everything that is in the book??
I really don't know how to picture that test.We don't do those tests in germany.
