i was wondering if the NET had a science section like the TEAS test... i havent taken either of them, but ive gotten really worried because my NET test is tmrw and i didnt study for the science section.
i heard the reading comprehension were science related but not actual question regarding bio, a&p... etc..
thanks for the help

Yes, it does have a science section, however it does not factor into the overall composite score. Only the math and science reading composition counts. My test only had 15 science questons.
Good luck tomorrow!!!

I just took the NET about 2 weeks ago, and it did have a science section that was different from the science reading comprehension section. There were only about 15 questions in that section, and I wasn't expecting it either. However, I don't think the score form the science section is used as part of the entrance criteria, and I don't think every NET test has a science section on it. I guess it depends on what the school requires applicants to be tested in. I didn't study for the science section, and I got 73%. Which is better than I thought I did, but I know I would've done better if studied a little bit. They have a breakdown of the questions on my score report, and it had:
5 anatomy and physiology questions
4 biology questions
3 cellular biology questions
3 chemistry questions
They were all pretty basic, and if you have already taken these subjects, I'm sure a quick review of your notes or text books would be sufficient. Also you may want to contact the school and see if they have science on their version of the test. They may not require it, but either way good luck on your test. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

What school are you taking the exam for? I am taking it tomorrow as well. I do not think the test has a science portion, from what I have read math and reading comp. are the only graded sections. All the otyher components are to assess if you are the type of person the school is looking for.
umb, im taking the TEAS test on wed 3/12 for CCBC.. are you doing the same?
I took the NET for umb also. I was thinking about applying to ccbc too, but decided to just apply there in the spring if I don't get in anywhere this time around. Hopefully that won't be necessary though, trying to think positive thoughts. I just mailed off all my application materials for the schools I'm applying to, so now I guess the waiting begins.
