If you are willing and able to keep up all the competencies required to work in the nursery, there shouldn't be a problem. We have nurses who work full-time for our hospital then work the minimum number of shifts at another hospital for the big bucks (registry wages.) Some love it, others find it too stressful. Could you for example, be a Labor/Delivery nurse for one hospital, then work prn as a nursery nurse at another hospital??? Does anyone do this?
