If I were you I would use it. It can only help. Better than not using a plan at all.
Did the Kaplan help you pass the Hesi? I'm doing all those questions

hello! i just took hesi a week ago, so i have some advice for you. i did suzanne's suggestion, went through chapters in the hesi book and read the hesi hint. i studied for an entire week. i am not saying 24/ during that week but i did study some everyday. the morning of my hesi test i woke up and signed in to my kaplan online and listened to he video's (ithink there were 3) on the decision tree. i made a 916 on hesi! i am so thankful i passed and have made it through that!
so, to answer your question i def. think that kaplan will help you. i really believe there advice helped me pass.
i think the hesi and nclex both test you on critical thinking and i was able to do that by breaking apart the uestions like kaplan taught.
there are many things i studied that i feel were a waste of time. i tried finding people to help me narrow down what i needed to focus on, but all anyone would say was everything is on there. that wasn't the case. i am happy to help you in anyway i can.
the main thing is remain calm! there are many people who fail because they have so much anxiety. you need to go in there with an additude that you can do it! "i can do all things through christ who strengthens me" (phil 4:13)
everytime i would get the least bit of anxiety during the test i would close my eyes and pray. i couldn't have made it that day without god by my side!
god bless you!
good luck!
heather
p.s. let me know how you do!
Oh my goodness Heather thank you so much. I'm so determined and more encouraged you are so right everything is possible with GOD on your side.

I don't believe in god--but I still think I will pass. I do better when I study and do the work needed to get the grade. I have a friend who is a christian and she prayed over HESI and then failed. The praying thing doesn't strike me as reliable. But, who knows--I wish I had a god helping me.

DNP, Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God!!!!! You must hear his word to start believing in him! The more you hear the more you will start to believe!!!!! The failure is not in God; the failure is in us! He will give you an expected end if you believe one of peace! But, if you don't believe he will give you an expected end of torment. This is meant to encourage not to offend! Best wishes on NCLEX. We all need him, and can't make it without him! We must still remain with him even when things don't work out the way we think they should. After a while, he will deliver us if we are faithful to him!
