Does It Matter Where I Completed My Prerequisites for USF?

Hi Everyone! I'm a new member to allnurses though I'm very familiar with this site as I am interested in nursing and there is a lot of good advice on here.

I am beginning college this fall, a local college that recently transitioned from being a community to a state college, and I plan on transferring after 1 year to USF. I know that USF's nursing program favors their students, so if I transfer then complete the rest of the required courses there I will be looked at just the same as a USF student who completed all their prerequisites there?

    Ask the school for facts on transferring. The time to do the work is before spending thousands on classes that won't transfer.
