Does anyone know of any low cost...

NSNA offers health insurance to its members. When I start my nursing program I plan to enroll in NSNA and then sign up for the health insurance. I can't remember off the top of my head how much it is...but it's way cheaper than anything else I could find. I don't know if it's offered in all states either.

Good luck, health insurance is so important but such a pain to find something that's decent and cheap.

I went to their site and I'm going to call them as well.. I like to have that human touch to explain things in a more clearly manner... Are you a member? If so how is their membership? Is it worth it?

I'm not a member yet, but I plan on becoming one when my nursing program starts in the fall, especially because I want to take advantage of the health insurance. I don't remember right now how much the membership is. If it allows me to get affordable, decent health insurance, it's worth it to me. Hope everything works out.
