I am a new nurse in psych facility. I would like to take a course on documentation from a legal prespective. Can anyone guide me to a valuable source?

    I attended an awesome seminar last April called "Legal Issues in Documentation". The presenter, Cathy White, is an RN, MSN, JD. It was an all day seminar & I learned things I never knew even though I have almost 35 years of nursing experience.

    The seminar is offered through Southwest Seminars Association, P.O. Box 890228, Houston, TX, 77289. Their phone number is (281)996-5355 & the website is www.southwestseminars.com.

    I think the cost was around $75 but I believe you can order her guides from the website.
