Do your own work!!!

ok so we have to do a care plan for our clinical - yes only one! I have a classmate in my clinical group that keeps sending me text messages and FB messages asking me to email her my care plan so she can look at it to see what she's doing wrong...uh HELL no!!! I spent several hours on it, everyone in our group has directed her toward Google, the Care Plan book recommended by the school, heck we even told her to get a cheap-o used one on Ebay - since the nursing diagnoses haven't really changed (at least for GI)...she also kept asking us "how do I write this" and "does this sound right"? If I wanted to do 2 care plans for the clinical I'd have volunteered for extra credit!!! The kicker is the CI even offered to critique them before we turn them in for a grade since they're not due till 10/9. (I've turned mine in already - just wanted to get it done and out of the way)...so do you know anyone like this?

I'm just blowing off steam to people that I know would understand...

I had people like that. Know what I did? Sent them a really rough draft with basic scribbling instead of legit dx and lab info. Guess who didn't pass? They didn't. They learned though. I would even tell them "it's a real rough draft"

That is frustrating! A friend of mine have shared careplans...and no not to copy off of them. We were both getting super high grades in clinical but hers were as few points higher so I wanted to see exactly what she was doing differently.

I would just refer her to the instructor.
