Do questions or study content?

For those who took nclex already what helped you? I'm in between doing questions and focusing on material I struggle with OR focus more on content! Suggestions please!

Don't listen to anyone who says the test is strategy, it's all content! You need to know your stuff, I read Kaplan's RN Course book from front to back and did all they qTrainer and qbank questions, I also did hurst which is content. Marlene (hurst) has a way of teaching that will make you remember her content. Either way, they were both helpful for me, but only you will know how to study for the exam because everyone studies different

I took NCLEX-RN yesterday and my advice is to study your core content as well as some basic nursing. I didn't think the questions were tricky so just know the content and you will be fine!

Thanx guys! I've been studying Kaplan course book and Saunders to fill in missing information. The trainers and qbank have been helpful as well!

@BSNtraumaqueenRN, what did you use to study for the exam?

Both...make sure you are studying questions and sections on the NCLEX that you are struggling with. Review rationales; if you do not understand the rationale, review a source for the rationale. Take a few mock NCLEX exams before taking the exam as well.

Both :) Practice questions really helped me to analyze questions for what they were really asking me. But you need that core content too.
