I am a little lost. I am applying to BSN/ABSN programs and need some advice about my likelihood of being accepted. Any advice about places to apply would be appreciated as well.
I currently have a BS in Biology. My cumulative GPA was only a 3.1, and I definitely had some not so great grades in my science classes. Nothing lower than a C though. I didn't take school seriously enough back then. I am back in school, and I am doing great. I took A+P and received As.
I live in Washington State, and I applied to the UW ABSN program. I did not get in, but I didn't have most of my pre-reqs done at the time. I also work full time in clinical research and have worked with nurses in a hospital setting. I have also shadowed a few nurses but for a limited amount of time.
Can someone give me some honest advice? Do I have a chance of ever getting in or will my poor performance in undergrad the first time around hinder me? The programs I can apply to are quite limited because I graduated with my BS a while ago and many schools would require me to take many classes over again. I unfortunately don't have unlimited time and money to do this.
Thanks so so much for your time. It really means a lot.

3.1 is low for most nursing programs, but every program is different in how they calculate eligibility. You need to call their advisor(s) and ask about your chances (or how best to improve them).
