I am a little lost. I am applying to BSN/ABSN programs and need some advice about my likelihood of being accepted. Any advice about places to apply would be appreciated as well. I currently have a BS in Biology. My cumulative GPA was only a 3.1, and I definitely had some not so great grades in my science classes. Nothing lower than a C though. I didn't take school seriously enough back then. I am back in school, and I am doing great. I took A+P and received As. I live in Washington State, and I applied to the UW ABSN program. I did not get in, but I didn't have most of my pre-reqs done at the time. I also work full time in clinical research and have worked with nurses in a hospital setting. I have also shadowed a few nurses but for a limited amount of time. Can someone give me some honest advice? Do I have a chance of ever getting in or will my poor performance in undergrad the first time around hinder me? The programs I can apply to are quite limited because I graduated with my BS a while ago and many schools would require me to take many classes over again. I unfortunately don't have unlimited time and money to do this. Thanks so so much for your time. It really means a lot.
