I think you have a pretty good shot, just because other people say something, don't let them differ you in what you want to do. Being in the 90's is a pretty good shot, 9 and 10 marks don't really matter, more so your senior years I believe. Also, having volunteer experience doesn't matter, I had over 2 years volunteer experience and they don't take it into consideration when you actually apply. But it is good when you graduate and for the time being - looks good on your resume.

Hi everyone! This is my first post.
I really want to do the 2 year Practical Nursing at George brown. Everyone is telling me how competitive it is, and that people with marks in the 80's don't get in. I'm really worried that I won't get in so I wanted to ask you guys if you think I have a chance.
I'm almost done my English12C class and I have a 93%.
I am currently taking Chemistry12C night school and I have a 91%.
Math12C - 96%
Math11C - 97%
Biology11C - 76%
I know that my marks are really good but I am worried that my Biology mark is too low, even though it is higher than what is required.
I also used to do really badly in highschool. I got mostly 60's in grade 9 and 10. And my english mark for grade 11 is terrible (English11U 66%) Will they take into consideration my poor marks in my earlier years? Will they look at my GPA for grade 11 and 12? If they look at my GPA for grade 12 is it only the classes required to be submitted, or all the classes I took that year?
If you got into the Practical Nursing program at George Brown, what were your marks? If you don't mind sharing. I'm really worried about not being accepted.
I also have over 200 hours of volunteer service, I don't know if that is important or not.
Thank you in advance
