Do you consider yourself a creative person?

Dear SRNA and CRNA:

Do you consider yourself a creative person?

As I see it, it is inherent that at CRNA is incredibly technical, detail oriented, focused, type "A", finite, etc. etc.. Just curious if anyone's perceptions of themselves is as a creative person (perhaps big picture person?)?

Does creativity exhist during the day to day tasks of CRNA? If not, are you a "creative person" outside of work? Furthermore, can these dualities coexist in a successful, happy CRNA?

Can't wait to hear your thoughts ~

i see myself as a more logical, orderly person, and i feel like all i do is work! i really wish i could paint or play an instrument or something as an outlet.

I'm a lpn student but my ultimate goal is crna... I am logical, anal, type A but my 1st go at college (20 yrs ago) I studied architecture.... I could do all the calculus and planning stuff but the program I was in had still life drawing classes ... hello, failing grades! LOL So I switched to art history ... again, I could do all the logical analytical parts ... compare styles and trends of painters in different periods but can't actually put anything on canvas myself!

That said - I consider myself creative. I can design/decorate a room like no one's business. I can scrapbook like a madwoman. I am a fabulous cook but I can't paint, sketch, sculpt ... It's like I can "put it together" but someone already designed the sofa or the sticker or the recipe. I can't do anything from scratch.

I just re-read this and I don't know if it'll make sense to anyone but me. Sorry
