If so, how do you manage your symptoms and work? I am 31 years old, have AS and work 8 hr shifts where I'm on my feet almost all the time. Typically I do feel a little better the next day since I was so active at work, however while I am at work I'm extremely miserable. I can't wait to get home and take my pain meds so I can get some relief. I love being a floor nurse and do not believe I would be happy in a more administrative position. I just haven't figured out a balance yet for working days and my disease. How do you cope?
