Do Alegria clogs stretch??

So, just wondering if Alegria clogs stretch out any? I tried on a size 38 in the store, but they were a little big. They didn't have a smaller size for me to try on. I ordered a 37 from the website. I just received them, but they're kind of snug. I'm trying to decide if I need to send them back to exchange, but I really don't want to go through the hassel if they tend to stretch over time..............:confused:
