dizzy and missing work

I had viral labyrynthitis my last week of nursing school in Dec. 07, awful vertigo. Have sought treatment here locally and then to Mayo where they did lots of tests. Said that had some nerve damage, but hearing in tact for now and I have had Epley's done for the BPPV (positional vertigo). It seemed to get better, but now the problem seems to more of a visual dizziness. I have tried exercises, etc. My life is not the same. I work on a busy critical care floor and changed my hours. Anyone with this problem??? I've even looked at different openings to see if it would be better - any suggestions - finally got my nursing going and can't get over this hump (mountain):(

I was flat on my back for 10 days. It was awful. However, I have no lasting effects. I wish I could help you more!
