Back in October I quit my job due to the overwhelming amount of stress and lack of staff. I suppose it was quit or be fired because they said I diverted narcotics after noticing I did not chart on many occurrences that happened within a two month period in which we all were overworked. I went home each night and cried. It was unbearable and was already in the process of seeking other employment.
The drug screen came back negative. But the employer said they were still going to report me. Nothing happened. Now, my license is due to be renewed. When I renewed it, along with the standard fee there was a nursing excellence fee, and a diversion fee of $10.00. What am I to expect? Why have they let this go for 4 months.
Now I'm scared. I did contact an attorney back in October.

Don't understand how you can be charged a nursing excellence fee along with a diversion fee! I think I'd call to find out how this reflects on your Lc. ..... Peace
