Distance Learning

I am a current LPN and wondering if anyone has taken the LPN to RN online with DLSI being the online program,

which then turns into the Excelsior ADN degree?? I have read many post and it sounds like I maybe able to just complete

it all through Excelsior sooner and without the additional fees.

I have already inquired on the College Network and choose not to start the process with them.

Is it true that I am reading students with Excelsior are taking Nursing exams as soon as one month apart and passing them. The DSLI is saying the others only send you a book in a box and you are left on your own.

Any input would be helpful.

I don't know what DSLI is but I can help with the other info. I am enrolled in the LPN-RN program at EC and have only dealt with them. I have been testing since July about ever 3 weeks and have 3 exams left to go, I have only failed 1 so far. I have only used the content guide, practice exams from EC, Saunders NCLEX book and Study Guide 101 materials to prepare. Don't pay someone to send you materials, they are readily available online for cheap.

There are tons and tons of people here who have done it quickly and without a 3rd party company sending them material.

Thank you for the info. It sounds like a great option for me, as well and I am happy to hear you are able to go through it quickly. I will read up on it further and inquire soon.
