Distance Learning LPN to ADN

Are there any other schools besides Excelsior that offers LPN to ADN via distance learning? I'm just wondering if there are any other options out there. It is extremely expensive to spend traveling costs, testing cost, housing costs and work days missed with the possibility of not passing the test, and I know you hope for the best, but I am just looking for other options.

Depends on the state you live in. I'm not aware of any other online programs that are accredited. Even with Excelsior, depending on your state, there still may be hoops to jump thru (Virginia) or an actual block on ever getting licensed (Maryland).

I live in Minnesota. I'm looking for a distance learning online LPN to ADN program other than excelsior. Is Excelsior and Indiana State University, the only schools that offer LPN to ADN and LPN to BSN totally through distance learning respectively?

For the best options I would check with the BON for your state to see. In my state, I went online and they had a list of approved education programs both instate and online listed on the website.

I don't see EC or ISU listed but distance education programs tend to be hidden, in my case they were. You may only be able to find the requirements they want and then compare them against EC and ISU's program to see if they would be acceptable, but I would still send an email to the BON before enrollment.

Hopefully someone else will chime in if they have additional info.
