I'm a student nurse and I'm writing a paper on a specialty that I'm interested in and I choose disaster nursing. This isn't ever listed in lists of nursing specialities but It IS a part of nursing. Does anyone know if there are trade journals or organizations that exist for this topic? also, I'm aware that alot of this type of nursing is volunteer work, but there are some paid career lines, like with the Red Cross for example or other humanitarian aid agencies but I'm not coming up with much else. Can anyone help out on that too? Thank you so much!

i moved your post to the nursing student assistance forum for a better response. yours was deeply buried in another thread where you would not receive the response you needed.
