Direct Entry MSN Programs 2013

Anyone on here applying to direct entry MSN programs that begin in summer or fall of 2013? I think I have finalized my list of programs to apply to, and I am beginning to get everything together to start applying this summer/early fall (I know this is rather early, but I'm a bit anxious and I was wondering if there was anyone else on this board who is just as excited as me!). I am pretty certain that I will be applying to UPenn, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Northeastern, University of Massachusetts, Boston College, Columbia, Vanderbilt, and Marquette. I am also applying to a few accelerated BSN programs in my state (Florida) - UCF and UF, for sure. I have all of my prerequisite courses completed, and currently have a 3.76, but my BS is still in progress and I have to retake the GRE this summer. I look forward to hearing from other people!

One more thing (sorry) about jhu. Do you need a b or better in each prerequisite course or the total perquisite GPA has to be a 3.0 or better ?

I had a B- in statistics and they said if you have one grade with a - they will take it.

For JHU, they said they interview "most" of their BS-MSN applicants. Average GPA of accepted students is 3.5. They have an acceptance rate of a little less than 50%.

Sounds good! I hear everyone about not being invited to interview at yale. I'm still surprised that super qualified people didn't get asked. I think I'm just bitter that I spent so much time on that essay, it wasn't easy by any means.

So excited to start this new career. Nerve wracking waiting to hear.

Pretty nervous waiting for OHSU's interview decisions! It's coming soon.

Anyone applying to UIC?

Anyone applying to UIC?

I'll be applying to UIC!

I'll be applying to UIC as well! :-)

Duke's interview decisions are coming up soon as well, and I'm pretty nervous about that too! The waiting game is rough.

Don't worry guys! I'm sure you're golden for the interviews. I wanted to apply to uic but I am going to retake my GRE and then apply next round . I read that they place a lot of emphasis on them.

Do you have above a 3.25 GPA? They are now waiving the GRE if you do. Just incase you change your mind!
