Difficulty level of Chamberlain classes

Has anyone out there taken any RN to BSN online courses at Deaconess? I'm starting (at Chamberlain) in the fall and I don't know if I can handle 2 classes, along with 40+ hrs of work. I'm wondering about the level of difficulty and involvement. What can I expect with their tests? I could really use some info before I commit. Thanks guys. Marie

Sara Nolte is my advisor. She suggests 2 classes but I have a hard time believing I could handle that. Can you fill me in on what their typical class consists of, regarding papers and whatnot. Also, how do they do their testing - are they online? I'm sure I could ask Sara, but I'd like to hear from working nurses. Thanks, Marie

Meagan is my advisor. She is the one that suggested just one class at a time due to my work schedule. Her words....we want you to be successful!

Learn to like APA!! Most classes I am taking require at least 1 formal paper. Very few books to buy. One of my classes...haven't taken it yet....requires just articles from the library. I'm not too far into the program yet but in talking to some other nurses that are enrolled....they tell me it is definately do-able. No actual "tests" yet.....so I'll keep you posted on that one.
