Feb 4, 201016 yr Hi everyone, Is there any difference between MN (Master of Nursing) and MSN (Master of Science in Nursing)? If you could elaborate on these degrees, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Aug 30, 201114 yr It is DEFINITELY different at Mt. Saint Joseph University at Cincinnati Ohio:http://www.msj.edu/view/academics/graduate-programs/nursing_2.aspxhere' it clearly states: "What the MN degree program is not:-A program that prepares the nurse for advanced practice positions, such as a clinical nurse specialist, or a nurse practitioner-A Master of Science in Nursing degree"SO they're definition of MN does not equal a MASTERS of science in nursing in which you get to be an NP or clinical nurse specialist.
