Difference of MAN and MSN

The difference is with clinical hours, usually. At least if you are comparing the MAN degree in the Philippines with the MSN in the US. Depends on where you plan to work, if the goal is the US, you will need to complete additional hours to get the equivalent of the MSN for where it is needed. In the US, it is also needed for Advanced Practice Nursing, as well as Clinical Specialist roles. And most programs for teaching want to see the MSN.

If your goal is to work in the US, you may as well wait and complete the degree over here. You are going to complete additional hours to get the MSN degree here, and all schools require that you have so many hours that you attended there before they will grant you a degree, so you will be having to do more than the needed few classes.

I would focus on the NCLEX exam, without that being passed, there is not one thing that you can do with working in the US.

You still need to get clinical hours in, so getting the training done completely out of the US is going to be very hard to complete.

University of Phoenix has an excellent program, and they offer the MSN. I know for a fact that you can complete their graduate business degrees out of the country, but even with those, you still need to go to the US periodically for on-campus reviews. Not sure of their set-up with the MSN program. Best bet is to contact them directly.
