What are the main or major differences between nursing in Missouri vs. Colorado? Are there any practice law variations nurses should be aware of, ethical differences, general differences, etc.?

    Each nurse should be familiar with the Nurse Practice Act of the state in which they work. It means a fair amount of dry reading, but that is the best way to get the most accurate information. MO's NPA is available here at no cost for a PDF. CO provides information here.

    Knowing one's scope of practice is the best way to protect that license that a lot of effort, money, sleepless nights, etc. went into getting.
