Dialysis

My mom age 54 is starting Dialysis today. I was wondering what does this mean. Her brother was 55 when he started and died 3 or 4 months later. Is the same thing going to happen to her?

The terms of service (that you agreed to when you joined) forbids the giving of medical advice by members. We are not a substitute for asking questions of your doctor.

Talk to your mother and find out why her doctor has decided to dialyize her.

Google dialysis and see what it involves.
