Diagnostic Set

I need to get myself a diagnostic set for upcoming courses - any recommendations? I can't imagine spending $6-700 on the one my school 'recommends' (Welch Allyn Classic Smart Set) but would like to know what might be similar in a more reasonable price range. From lots of what I have heard - it's not used outside of school, as clinical settings and employers all have their own, so I'm trying to be prudent with spending on this one. Thank you!

    Would they have these on eBay or could you purchase them from someone who graduated from your program already?

    There MIGHT still be classified ads here on AN. I am not sure about that or if you have to be a paying member to post.

    my husband had to buy that for PA school, and we couldn't find a used one anywhere so we ended up having to pay for it out of pocket!
